We are excited to announce that the OpenDataConnected conference initiative will have its final podium at the DORS/CLUC conference in Zagreb, Croatia, on the 12th of May, 2023. This separate track, called OpenDataConnected, will showcase successful open data applications and foster discussions on sustainable processes around open data.
OpenDataConnected was initiated in response to the current state of public open data quality, which has proven to be less than desirable. Many Open Data related initiatives and hackathons serve primarily as a platform for app-builders to display their skills. While their talents are undoubtedly impressive, these events often fail to generate sustainable long-term results.
OpenDataConnected aims to shift the focus from competition to collaboration, emphasizing the importance of sustainable processes and successful open data applications. By bringing together experts, enthusiasts, and stakeholders in the open data community, this conference track will encourage meaningful discussions and inspire innovative solutions to improve public open data quality.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the OpenDataConnected finale at the DORS/CLUC conference in Zagreb. Mark your calendars for May 12th, 2023, and join us in celebrating the achievements of OpenDataConnected while exploring the future of open data.
Together, let’s work towards creating a sustainable and impactful open data ecosystem. We look forward to seeing you at the DORS/CLUC conference in Zagreb on May 12th, 2023, for the final podium of the OpenDataConnected initiative.
